Adding SmartBean® as an Accountant
Note: You need to be an admin or another accountant user to invite or remove accountants.
Add or invite SmartBean®
- Login to your QuickBooks.
- Select the Gear icon at the top, then choose Manage users.
- Go to Accounting firms tab.
Invite SmartBean®
- If this is your first time inviting an accountant, enter our accountant email: accountant@smartbeaninc.com, then select Invite.
- If there's an existing Accountant user, select Invite at the top right to add a new one.
We'll receive an email invitation. Once we accept the invite, the status on the "Manage Users" screen changes from Invited to Active.
SmartBean® can now log in to your QuickBooks with admin access.
Notes:
- You can invite up to 2 accountants.
- Adding an Accountant user doesn’t count towards your user limit, unless we're also your company’s Master Admin. Learn about your plan’s usage limits.
